The primary responsibility of this role is to manage, coordinate and deliver competent nursing care for patients using leadership and advanced nursing skills and knowledge relevant to the practice setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage, coordinate and deliver competent nursing care for patients.
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship within the team.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role you will require the following qualifications and skills:
- Eligibility for registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated advanced nursing practice within the area of Critical Care Nursing.
- Demonstrated advanced skills in planning, coordination and decision making within area of practice.
- Demonstrated well-developed team leadership and mentorship skills.
- Demonstrated well-developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates incorporation of quality and risk management within practice.

Area and Agency Information
This role is part of WACHS Kimberley which provides hospital, community health, public health, remote area health, community aged care and mental health services through a dedicated team of professionals. The region serves approximately 200 Aboriginal communities across 34 language groups.
