Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mine Controller to join our team. This role will involve monitoring and managing mining equipment from a central control room, coordinating haulage, responding to system alerts and operational issues, and maintaining communication with on-site personnel.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in mine operations control room environments or similar exposure in fleet or logistics environments. They will also be required to work a rotating roster including day, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts.

About the Role
  • Job Type: Casual
  • Hours: 12.5 hours per shift, rotating roster

The Mine Controller will be responsible for:

  1. Monitoring and managing mining equipment from a central control room

  3. Maintaining communication with on-site personnel

Requirements

  • Prior experience in mine operations control room environments or similar exposure in fleet or logistics environments
  • Fleet management system experience is advantageous
  • Understanding of service delivery and value chain impacts
  • Ability to multitask and identify risks
  • Efficient activation of emergency response and coordination or other high-pressure critical tasks
  • Continuous improvement and collaborative mindset
