Job Description

Do meaningful work in our OTC Regulatory Reconciliations and Reporting Operations team, providing extensive support for Institutional Banking clients.

The OTC Regulatory Operations team performs controls and processes relating to OTC Derivatives Trade Reporting, Portfolio Reconciliations, and exception controls, ensuring multiple jurisdictional regulatory obligations are met or exceptions escalated accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily reporting and reconciliation of total OTC transaction positions across various regulatory jurisdictions
  • Exceptions management of trade submissions to various regulatory jurisdictions (including ASIC, EMIR, CFTC, HKMA)
  • Data analytics for workflow metrics for the team and continuous improvement with processes, keeping abreast of new regulatory requirements and market developments of trade reporting
  • Strong understanding of risks, controls, and daily reconciliations, ensuring all exceptions are followed up/resolved/escalated in a timely manner with adequate audit trails

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience within global markets environment and knowledge of global markets products and technology with a focus on derivative products and Murex system
  • Developed skills across data analytics, using data to enhance decisions, continuous improvement projects, and solutions for stakeholders and clients
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of processing financial markets products and a thorough understanding of related risks
  • Prior experience and understanding of new regulatory rules on trade reporting and exceptions management
