Salary and Benefits

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Machine Technician with a strong mechanical aptitude and minimum of 5 years' experience operating machinery within a high-speed manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating blow moulding machines, possess good quality control skills, and be able to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Setting up and calibrating blow moulding machines according to specifications.
  • Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and reporting any foreseeable issues.
  • Monitoring, inspecting, and adjusting machine settings as required to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and conduct quality checks on finished products.
  • Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
  • Maintaining accurate production records and reporting any discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintaining and ensuring all Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a high level of mechanical aptitude, hold a current forklift license, and possess good communication skills. Blow Moulding machinery experience is highly advantageous, and trade background is a bonus.
