Plastic Materials Handler Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Team Member to join our team in the Parramatta area. As a Plastic Materials Handler, you will be responsible for operating forklifts, using machinery to cut and shape plastic materials, and performing general warehouse duties.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts to efficiently load, unload, and transport plastic materials and products.
  • Use band saws and other machinery to accurately cut and shape plastic materials according to specifications.
  • Perform various warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, and organizing inventory to maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Maintain all machinery in good working order through regular checks and maintenance.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed when operating machinery and handling materials to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Assist with stock control, inventory management, and order dispatch to meet customer demands.
Requirements
  • Possession of a valid forklift license and prior experience in warehouse operations is essential.
  • Proficiency in operating band saws and other related machinery is necessary for this role.
  • Previous experience in the plastics industry is highly regarded, but not mandatory.
  • A strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude for basic machinery maintenance are crucial for success in this position.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team are also required.
