Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Soil Specialist to deliver quality results and maintain strong client relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing soil samples, following laboratory procedures, and ensuring all tasks are completed within the timeframes set by the Supervisor.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare soil samples according to laboratory protocols.
  • Operate sample preparation equipment with precision and accuracy.
  • Identify and report anomalies in results or sample behavior to the Section Supervisor.
  • Undertake cross-training to manage workflow fluctuations and cover staff leave.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a production environment
  • Tertiary qualification desirable but not required
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
  • Dedication to safe and quality laboratory practices
  • Strong commitment to client service
  • A positive work attitude, willingness to learn new skills, and team player
  • Ability to work independently and effectively solve problems
