Job Title: Soil Preparation Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:

The laboratory is seeking a skilled Soil Preparation Specialist to assist in the analysis of soil samples. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality results and providing excellent client service.

  • Prepare soil samples for analysis using various equipment and techniques.
  • Familiarize yourself with ALS Quality Work Instructions (QWIs) to ensure accurate preparation and analytical procedures.
  • Organize tasks to maximize daily efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Operate sample preparation equipment to ensure precise results.
  • Identify and report anomalies in results or sample behavior to the supervisor.
  • Develop skills to manage workflow fluctuations and cover staff leave as needed.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in production environments.
  • Tertiary qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Dedication to safe and quality laboratory practices.
  • Strong commitment to client satisfaction.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
