About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of commercial construction projects to achieve maximum profit and client satisfaction.

  • Review project information, scope of work, pricing, and contractual requirements.
  • Source materials and external pricing to create project quotes.
  • Action inbound leads, customer requests for information, and quotes.
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets by working with the team to follow up quotes and close sales.
  • Manage customer communication in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile and maintain project files, including project forecasting.
  • Establish project programs for detailing, manufacturing, delivery, and installation.
  • Prepare manufacture orders with required information.
  • Ensure goods are manufactured and delivered to clients as planned.
  • Establish and manage subcontract site installation and costs.
  • Action client site instructions and raise variation requests as needed.
  • Compile invoice and progress claim information and forward to the accounts department.
  • Reconcile project sales and costs, resolve variances, and obtain client deed of release.

About You:

To be effective in this role, you must have some technical aptitude, particularly in the construction environment. We are seeking a proactive individual with energy and passion who can find solutions for customers and add value to the selling process.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the building and construction industry.
  • Relevant trade background preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience in project administration or a similar role.
  • Substantial level of skill in the administration and management of construction projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, clients, specifiers, and subcontractors.
  • Sound level of skill in the use of personal computers and programs.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent planning, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications.
