About the Role

The Project Coordinator is a key position within Engineers Australia, responsible for coordinating project management activities for the Future Now Project. This role involves providing administrative support, handling assigned tasks, and working closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure the project's smooth implementation and successful delivery of key outputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project tasks, taking responsibility for facilitating collaboration and resolution of obstacles that may hinder project success
  • Lead and complete assigned components of work
  • Work with the Program Manager and other EA stakeholders to develop and coordinate workforce program initiatives and provide updates for internal and external communications
  • Liaise with stakeholders to implement plans and schedules aligned to business priorities, needs, and requirements that consider sequencing and dependencies across the organization
Requirements
  • Background in administration or coordination of projects within a business environment and familiarity with the engineering profession
  • Experience and understanding of project management, using industry-standard methodologies such as PMBOK, Six Sigma, and Agile
  • Ability to perform under pressure, with strong time management and adaptability in effectively managing project activities
  • Customer-centricity and outcomes focus
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, able to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage a wide range of responsibilities
  • A proactive, 'can-do' attitude with the ability to multi-task and produce accurate work across multiple and competing deadlines
  • Skilled communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely
  • Ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships
  • Collaboration with teams and stakeholders at all levels with clarity and proven facilitation and business acumen
  • Keen eye for accuracy in an environment of highly structured processes and detailed documentation
