Job Description

The Department of Veterans' Affairs is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Healthcare Program Manager to assist with the management of the Private Hospitals Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic advice to stakeholders, including interpreting legislation to respond to queries.
  • Undertaking analysis, including data analysis, to assess program effectiveness and review existing policy, guidelines, procedures, and practices.
  • Contributing to briefs and submissions for senior management, commissions, and the Minister on policy and/or program issues.
  • Assisting with assessing proposals for new services and drafting procedural or technical manuals, guidelines, information packages, and other communication products to support the delivery of the private hospital program.
