As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to clients from diverse backgrounds and assisting in the daily operations of our crisis units.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation and accessing medications
- Responding to emergencies by accessing required internal or external support services
- Coordinating client attendance at different programs, services, and community meetings
- Supervising clients throughout the services to ensure appropriate support
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Relevant experience in homelessness and working in residential settings
- Comprehensive understanding of issues and needs of service users particularly homelessness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
