Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $72,651 - $99,129 p.a., with a pro-rata adjustment for part-time employees.

Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse at Cowell District Hospital and Aged Care, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality nursing care to patients across various age groups and healthcare needs.

You will assess individual patient needs, develop and implement personalized care plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Assessing patient needs and developing tailored care plans
  • Providing direct patient care, including medication administration, wound management, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Contributing to a safe and respectful work environment, promoting a culture of open communication and teamwork

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the role of the Registered Nurse within a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the use of computer packages, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
