Job Title: Manager, Lived and Living Experience Workforce


Role Description:

As a Manager, Lived and Living Experience Workforce, you will lead the development of policies and programs that support lived and living experiences workforces in mental health and alcohol and drug services.

You will collaborate with consumers, families, carers, and supports to ensure Royal Commission recommendations and the collective priorities for lived and living experience workforces are addressed.

The role involves leading small teams to develop policies and frameworks, coordinating program initiatives, and implementing co-designed evaluation frameworks.

Additionally, you will provide authoritative advice to the Mental Health and Wellbeing Division on issues related to lived and living experience workforces.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop policies and frameworks for employers of lived and living experience workforces
- Coordinate program initiatives and implement co-designed evaluation frameworks
- Provide authoritative advice to the Mental Health and Wellbeing Division
- Support cultural shift and practices to value lived and living experiences workforces


Requirements:

  • Experienced leader in developing lived and living experience workforce policies and programs
  • Skilled communicator and collaborator with stakeholder management experience
  • Strong relationships with lived experience peak bodies, training providers, and other partners
  • Able to demonstrate how actions and outcomes impact clients and departmental objectives
