About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Voith Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and advice to field sites, preparing and maintaining work packages, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise to field sites, including preparation and maintenance of work packages, technical procedures, and control sheets.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks, and collaborate with the Project Team to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain specifications, technical procedures, and work descriptions for installation subcontractors.
  • Facilitate communication with customers and ensure their needs are met.
  • Participate in design review meetings and ensure field-related design considerations are addressed.
  • Ensure the availability of HSE, quality plans, and documents.
  • Develop and maintain project-specific procedures and safety assessments.
  • Determine site layouts, tooling, and site infrastructure requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and support corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with site and back-office teams.
Requirements
  • University diploma in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience and technical understanding of turbines, generators, and balance of plant equipment.
  • Project management, sub-supplier handling, and scheduling experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Primavera P6.
  • Desirable: AutoCad, Solid edge software, or equivalent.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills in English, with additional languages beneficial.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
