About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer - Balance of Plant Mechanical to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our hydro power project team, you will be responsible for planning and executing the balance of plant mechanical work scope, providing technical support, and ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare technical and site-specific documentation for the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process and evaluate bids/offers.
  • Provide mobilization and demobilization, management of purchase orders, and create and update site documentation.
  • Support the development of HSE & Quality plans and provide technical support to the site team.
  • Participate in design review meetings and ensure field-related design considerations.
  • Prepare and maintain subcontractor work packages and participate in short- and medium-term work planning.
  • Review and support data quality in our construction management software, Insite LMS.
  • Support the identification, reporting, and documentation of scope deviations, risks, and opportunities.
  • Monitor achievement of quality, schedule, costs, and corrective actions.
Requirements
  • University diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Previous demonstrated experience in supervision of BoPm installation in the field of large hydro power projects or similar industries.
  • Proficient technical and operational knowledge of hydro power BoPm equipment.
  • Sound knowledge of construction project management best practices.
  • Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
  • Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, Solid Edge, or equivalent.
