Cancer Care Specialist

We are seeking a professional and passionate cancer care specialist to deliver clinical pharmacy services across public and private oncology and haematology services.

On-the-job training will be provided to support your transition into cancer care.

Mater Health Services provides a comprehensive pharmacy service, striving to maintain the highest level of professionalism in all our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services to hospital in-patients, chemotherapy day patients, and out-patients.
  • Provide accurate medication information and support to customers, patients, carers, and other health professionals.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for medication safety practices.
  • Manage patient medications, including discharge planning.
  • Collaborate in the provision of medications for clinical trials and participate in on-site training programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
  • Registration as a pharmacist with APHRA (without restrictions).
  • Previous experience in a clinical/hospital oncology/haematology setting.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
