**Leadership Role**

This role leads the strategy and execution of our relationships with private equity firms and financial sponsors, fostering growth and innovation.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop long-term strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and investment professionals.
- Identify new business opportunities with financial sponsors and their portfolio companies.
- Structure and execute complex financing transactions, including leverage buyouts and acquisition financing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive business growth while ensuring compliance with risk governance frameworks.
- Lead the development and execution of the financial sponsors strategy, identifying cross-sell opportunities and maximising client experience by sharing market updates and trend intelligence.
- Drive innovation in solutions for clients and further develop our business where necessary and appropriate.
- Network with clients to identify new business avenues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements at all times.

**Requirements:**

- 10+ years of experience in commercial banking with a focus on financial sponsors and advanced credit skills to structure complex deals.
- Strong expertise in leverage finance, capital markets, and private equity transactions, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills (e.g. negotiation, consultative skills, leadership).
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and manage internal and external stakeholders to achieve significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding operations.
