Garden Maintenance Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Garden Maintenance Team Member.

This role involves performing various tasks related to garden maintenance, including planting, weeding, pruning, and watering. The successful candidate will also be responsible for mowing lawns, trimming edges, and caring for turf areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of Gardens and Outdoor Spaces: Perform tasks such as planting, weeding, pruning, and watering to maintain the beauty and health of gardens and outdoor spaces.
  • Care of Turf Areas: Mow lawns, trim edges, and care for turf areas to ensure they remain in good condition.
  • Preparation of Soil and Plant Beds: Prepare soil, mulch, and plant beds to create a healthy environment for plants to grow.
  • Operation and Maintenance of Gardening Tools and Equipment: Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Adherence to Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

About You:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Work Environment: Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Teamwork: Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid Drivers License: Valid Drivers License.
  • White Card: White Card.
  • Working with Children Check: Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
