About this role

This is a leadership position where you will oversee electrical operations and support production teams. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment performance, site safety, and mentoring junior trades.

The ideal candidate will have experience as an Electrical Supervisor in an industrial or manufacturing setting, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational reliability. They will also have the ability to lead and mentor junior trades in a supportive and high-performing team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing electrical support to the production team, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity.
  • Perform routine electrical tests, planned maintenance, and urgent breakdown work, ensuring that all electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
  • Oversee and support machinery installation and electrical equipment upkeep, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects across safety, quality, and efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive business results.
  • Mentor electrical team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • National Electricity Licence and supporting trade qualifications, ensuring that you have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform your job effectively.
  • Proven leadership experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, demonstrating your ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational reliability, ensuring that you prioritize these values in your work.
  • Experience with automation systems, PLCs, and drives (advantageous), enhancing your ability to design and implement efficient electrical systems.
  • The ability to lead and mentor junior trades in a supportive, high-performing team environment, ensuring that you can develop and grow your team members' skills and knowledge.
