Job Description

We are seeking a Geotechnical Specialist to play a key role in the delivery of civil construction projects with geotechnical insight and precision.

The successful candidate will have expertise in geotechnical assessments, tailings dam design and operation, and a strong understanding of internationally recognised standards and best practice guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of civil construction projects with geotechnical input.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure safe and effective outcomes.
  • Lead geotechnical investigations, assessments and designs that drive project success.
  • Build technical reports and recommendations that influence construction and operational decisions.
  • Manage geotechnical risks and contribute to innovative solutions in a tailings dam setting.

Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Civil, Geotechnical or Mine Engineering with experience in geotechnical/tailings dam design, construction and/or operation.
  • Experience in geotechnical assessments of dam stability and Critical State Soil Mechanics.
  • Solid understanding of internationally recognised tailings management standards and best practice guidelines.
  • Strong skills in tailings operation and monitoring systems.
