Firefighter - Emergency Response Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Firefighter to join our team as an Emergency Response Specialist.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to be part of a single agency that delivers high-quality fire, rescue, emergency, and disaster management services across Queensland.
You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to improve safety outcomes for the community, responding to emergency incidents and participating in regular drills and training sessions.
Key Accountabilities- Respond to fire and other emergency incidents, promoting community safety and emergency preparedness through community education activities.
- Develop and maintain competencies by actively participating in regular drills and other relevant training courses provided by the QFES.
- Maintain required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Australian Permanent Resident Status
- Manual C Class driver's licence
- Employers written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable)
- Live or work within a reasonable distance of auxiliary fire station

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as a supportive team environment.
