We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate SOC Operations Specialist to join our team at Divvy Cloud Corp. As an Associate SOC Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our Security Operations Center (SOC) team in delivering world-class security services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Incident Response and Management: Assist in supporting incident response engagements through customer communications and reporting, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security incidents.
- Alert Triage and Analysis: Triage alerts in our global alert queue alongside experienced analysts, utilizing your analytical skills to identify and prioritize potential security threats.
- Customer Communication and Reporting: Work closely with our TACOPS analysts and operations teams to convey recommendations to Rapid7 customers, improving their overall security posture.
- Log Search and Analysis: Perform log search queries to identify suspicious activity in customer environments, providing valuable insights to inform security decisions.
- Executive Briefings and Reporting: Help develop and create high-quality, accurate, and contextual customer deliverables, including executive briefings that illustrate implementation/operational score, threat and/or vulnerability score, trending details, and may include high-level action plans.
- Client Relationship Management: Assist in building strong advisory relationships with customers, continuously exceeding client expectations and ensuring their Rapid7 Platform technology is functional.
- Technology Deployment and Onboarding: Assist in technology deployment and client onboarding processes, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of our security solutions.
- Client Feedback and Roadmap Development: Gather client input and requirements across the Managed Services client base to influence Managed Services service roadmap, ensuring our solutions meet the evolving needs of our customers.
- Education and Experience: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and related disciplines, or two or more years of related experience.
- Practical Security Experience: Experience using a homelab environment/TryHackMe/HackTheBox or similar setup to gain practical security experience.
- Client Relationship Management: Significant client relationship management experience, with a proven ability to convey extremely technical concepts to audiences with varying technical prowess.
- Industry-Related Certifications: Industry-related certifications, such as A+, Network+, Sec+, Cloud+, CCSP, etc.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of common enterprise technologies, interest in technology deployment and configuration experience, and a strong interest in security frameworks and concepts.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional organization and time management abilities, with a proven ability to peer-review colleagues' work for errors and inaccuracies.
