Business Development Professional

The Role

We are seeking an ambitious and driven individual with a strong background in business development to acquire new clients and sell tailored workforce solutions. This role will involve partnering and collaborating with various stakeholders to understand client challenges and offer services that create employment opportunities.

About You
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrate high-level sales expertise, understanding client needs, and effectively selling value propositions.
  • Results-Oriented: Proven track record of successful client acquisition and superior business development skills.
  • Industry Knowledge (Desirable): Familiarity with the vocational education and training (VET) sector, including current trends and factors influencing the apprenticeship sector.
  • Sector Experience: Experience within the construction, manufacturing, and IT sectors is desirable.
  • Relationship Management: Active management of customer relationships to achieve sustained success.
  • Networking: Ability to proactively build a strong network of relationships with prospective clients, registered training organisations, employer associations, and industry stakeholders to drive business growth and uncover new opportunities.
  • Communication Skills: Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to increase market share.
  • Digital Literacy: High proficiency in various Microsoft Suite applications and programs.
