We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinical Nurse Manager at our Perth Hills facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the clinical, care workers and allied health medical resources to meet the needs of residents living at the facility.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, effective communication and negotiation abilities, as well as a commitment to high standards of patient care.
The Clinical Nurse Manager will work closely with the Facility Manager and other members of the clinical team to plan, monitor and review work practices, systems and processes to maintain high standards and meet the requirements of the Aged Care Act 1997 and Accreditation Principles 2014 – as amended.
Job Description- Coordinates and supervises the day-to-day operations of the clinical and care services to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of care and services to residents.
- Ensures care delivery is consistent with excellence in standards of practice.
- Coordinates the day-to-day roster planning to ensure care and services are effectively provided.
- Ensures the completion of timely and accurate ANACC assessment documentation to maximise Commonwealth funding.
- Coordinates and supports the investigation, review, and response to all clinical incident reporting processes to ensure feedback and incidents are acted upon effectively and in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Demonstrated contemporary clinical assessment skills.
- Demonstrated clinical supervisory/management experience in a Residential Aged Care Setting.
- Effective emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to engage with residents and families to promote and foster positive relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, influence and lead effective teams.
- Knowledge of Aged Care Standards and Accreditation and the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI).
- A competitive salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum.
