Production Operator Job Description

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team in Ballarat, Australia.

The key focus of this role is to ensure the safe and compliant production of animal nutrition products. This involves monitoring and controlling the receival of raw materials, premixes, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory reconciliation and reporting
  • Stocktaking as required
  • Operating a raw material receival computerised production line
  • Maintaining plant and equipment standards
  • Raw Material testing requirements
  • S4 allocation and premix addition accuracy
  • Non-conformance identification and reporting
  • Unloading transport vehicles
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Understanding of site HACCP Plan
  • Sound knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation
  • Sound computing skills
  • Able to work on a rotating shift roster
