We're seeking experienced Mining Engineers to join our team at the Rosebery Mine in Tasmania, Australia.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong understanding of underground metalliferous mining operations, with experience in drill and blast management, short-term scheduling, and production optimization.
Key responsibilities include leading drilling and blasting activities, developing and implementing production schedules, and managing mine performance to ensure efficient and sustainable operations.
This role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
About You- Degree in Mining Engineer or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in underground metalliferous mining operations
- Proven track record of successfully leading drilling and blasting activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing operational variables
