We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Computing Solution Architect to lead our team in delivering innovative cloud computing solutions for various core departmental systems.
This is a 3-month contract position based in the Sydney CBD, offering a unique opportunity to become a subject matter expert in cloud platforms and drive our cloud computing strategy forward.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Solutions Architect with cloud computing technologies and possess strong organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement cloud computing solutions for various core departmental systems
- Lead implementations of cloud computing solutions and drive our cloud computing strategy
- Become a subject matter expert in cloud platforms and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
- 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect with cloud computing technologies
- SalesForce.com and Force.com Web Services API experience would be beneficial
- Object Oriented software application design and development – Java, .Net, C#, Open Source
- Experience with relational databases DB2, Oracle, SQL Server or others
- Integration with Microsoft Office, 365 and SharePoint
- Effective organisational ability and analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and presentation skills
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, analytical and development skills. Knowledge of and experience with multiple development methodologies
