Job Description

This role involves providing remote service desk support to various client environments, ranging from 10 to 500 users. As a Client SME, you'll be responsible for supporting online and on-prem servers, desktops, and applications within Microsoft Azure, AD, and M365 environments.

You'll also be involved in troubleshooting across multiple technologies, liaising directly with key contacts inside our clients, and working with experienced solutions experts to maintain best practice environments.

  • Deliver high-quality support services to clients
  • Maintain expertise in multiple technologies, including Windows Server, Azure, and Exchange
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues

A strong understanding of end-user support, IT troubleshooting, and Active Directory is essential. Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Server, Azure, and Exchange, as well as genuine exposure across technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall, including LAN & WAN networking, are highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Advanced understanding of end-user support and IT troubleshooting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Server, Azure, and Exchange
  • Genuine exposure across technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall
  • Experience working with an IT outsourcer or managed service provider (MSP) is an advantage
  • An understanding of ticketing systems and customer service principles is critical
