About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Officer to join our team in Croydon, a charming town in the heart of the Gulf Savannah. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient execution of Council's financial and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to the public and liaise with government departments, agencies, and statutory authorities.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to implement financial policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
