Job Title: Civil Draftsperson

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Civil Draftsperson to support our civil engineering projects through the preparation of accurate technical drawings and documentation using CAD software. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed technical drawings for civil engineering projects using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to interpret and integrate design specifications
  • Maintain and update project documentation including revisions, specifications, and reports
  • Review technical drawings for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards
  • Conduct site visits as required to gather data and ensure designs align with site conditions and local regulations
  • Modify existing drawings based on feedback and project requirements
  • Provide drafting support during the construction phase as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Solid understanding of civil engineering design standards and principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Practical problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or diploma in civil drafting, engineering technology, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in civil drafting or civil engineering projects
  • Professional certification (if applicable) will be viewed favourably
