Job Title: Senior Manager Credit Loss Modelling We are seeking a senior manager to oversee all aspects of credit loss modelling for our organisation. The role involves working with the head of credit modelling, counterparty credit risk and exposure framework to drive delivery and strategic direction of credit loss modelling functions. The successful candidate will lead a team of strong technical experts in the development and maintenance of credit models. Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with senior stakeholders to influence key projects and decisions.
  • Develop and maintain credit models in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Build out the framework and underlying components required for strong model governance.
  • Manage second-line internal and external audit and regulators on matters related to model governance.
 Requirements: 
  • Extensive experience in IRB and IFRS9 provisioning model development.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial services preferably in investment banking or trading systems support.
  • Strong knowledge of financial market products and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
  • Programming skills in R Python and C++ preferred.
  • Tenacity and flexibility with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
 Credit Loss Modelling Overview Our organisation approves and manages counterparty credit equity and asset risks taken through the credit risk management framework. This framework articulates the approach to assessment approval monitoring and reporting of these risks. We enable our businesses to lend lease invest trade buy hedge and do other business within a framework where the risk of default and loss by the client is understood approved and monitored. We also help shape risk appetite which informs each business's strategies.
