About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our clubs, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to deliver an outstanding member experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide premium customer service to our members, exceeding their expectations and maintaining high service standards.
  • Club Operations: Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, including change rooms, steam and sauna areas, and pool surrounds.
  • Pool Management: Take pool chemical tests, monitor auto chemical controllers, and ensure the overall cleanliness and presentation of our pools and spas.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, motivation, and innovation to our teams, ensuring efficient operations across the club.
  • Opening and Closing Procedures: Manage the opening and closing of the club, ensuring all procedures are followed and the club is secure.
  • Operational Support: Deliver operational support to all departments, including Reception, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Crèche, Gym, Pool, and Sales.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in delivering premium customer service, leadership, and operational management.
  • Qualifications: Current qualifications in Senior First Aid, RSA, and Pool Life Guard.
  • Skills: Strong financial skills, adequate knowledge of food and beverage operations, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability: Flexible hours and days are required, including weekends, and the ability to work a varied schedule.
