Job Opportunity: Excavator and Drill Reliability Specialist

This role is an ideal chance to advance your career in reliability inspection for excavators and drills. You will be part of a team that strives for excellence in fleet maintenance and management, working on our equipment at Mount Pleasant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections on our excavator and drill fleet to generate work orders and scope for planned work.
  • Review and advise on the fleet condition monitoring.
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and component replacement strategy.
  • Ensure statutory compliance.
  • Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment.
  • Source technical information from relevant reference manuals, OEM and computer-based systems.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements
  • Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic Cert III Automotive Mechanical Technology (Earthmoving Mobile Plant Equipment) or similar qualification.
  • Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving Industry.
  • Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component changeouts and servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience with Komatsu and CAT large earthmoving equipment.
  • Understanding of Reliability and Oil sampling practices.
  • Exposure to work order management and parts ordering.
