The City of Kingston's Open Space department is responsible for maintaining and upkeeping all Sportsgrounds, Reserves, Playgrounds, Horticulture, Urban Forrest, Foreshore and Bushland assets within the municipality. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our open spaces look neat and are weed free using an integrated weed management approach.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join the Spray Crew as a team member. In this role you will:

">
  • Support your crew leader and team in maintaining Kingston's open space garden beds">
  • Help foster an environment that encourages open communication, sharing of ideas and feedback">
  • Perform spraying tasks and other horticultural tasks as required such as planting, mulching, pruning, weeding and feeding">
  • Carry out tasks with safe and efficient use of hand tools and various machinery">
  • Communicate effectively within the team to undertake scheduled and reactive works">

This role requires strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work safely and efficiently. If you have experience working in horticulture or a similar field, we encourage you to apply.
