Your role as a Business Banking Specialist plays a critical part in ensuring the financial wellbeing of our business lending customers.

Working closely with Bankers, specialists, and support teams, you will be responsible for various activities including:

- Delivering tailored solutions to meet commercial lending needs
- Pricing requests and amendments
- Consents

Your expertise in commercial acumen, combined with excellent customer and stakeholder skills, will help identify opportunities to grow and build resilience for our customers.

We offer flexible working arrangements to support our dispersed workforce, enabling us to better understand and support all of our customers' commercial lending needs.

Reporting to the Team Manager, Business Banking Client Services, this role supports the assessment and processing of commercial lending requests, including:

- Collaborating with Relationship Executives and customers to identify their needs
- Reviewing customer circumstances and making credit decisions
- Providing high-quality timely customer service
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships in support of team goals and objectives
- Supporting your Manager and Executive Manager with special projects as required

- Strong commercial lending and credit decision-making experience or an appetite to learn
- Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of business structures
- Attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- A tertiary qualification in Business Finance is highly regarded.

**Your qualifications are highly regarded if you have:**

- A recognized qualification or degree in a Risk Compliance finance Business-related discipline
- FSRA Tier 2
