Corporate Banking Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Banking Analyst to join our team in Sydney.

  • Support portfolio management consistent with operational and strategic frameworks.
  • Manage credit linked administrative tasks, including system records maintenance, covenant checks, documentation, and reporting.
  • Generate historical and forward-looking financial and industry analysis through credit processes.
  • Support relationship managers in pitch/proposal preparation.

Key Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in corporate banking (preferably).
  • Sound analytical skills to interpret credit data and draft reports.
  • Good communication skills to report financial condition using clear descriptions.
  • Understanding of corporate banking products.
  • MS Office experience, with key capabilities in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence others.

About This Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate Banking Analyst to join our Japanese Corporate Banking Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing credit linked administrative tasks, maintaining system records, covenant checks, documentation, and various reporting.

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background, with 2+ years experience in corporate banking, preferably with a sound understanding of financial data interpretation and credit analysis. You will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence others and draft clear reports.

In addition to your technical skills, you will be expected to develop strong relationships with our clients, supporting their business goals and objectives through effective pitching and proposal preparation. You will work closely with relationship managers to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality service.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a proactive and flexible individual with a passion for learning and growth. You will be expected to contribute to the development of our team and assist in the management of our Oceania-wide operations. Fluency in Japanese is highly desirable but not essential.
