About the Role

Evolve Talent is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Solar Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of commercial and industrial solar energy projects and embedded networks from inception to operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct client and delivery consultation to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Harness field management software to ensure compliance with Australian standards, safety, and quality.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are in place.
  • Conduct safety reporting and adopt a Zero Harm safety culture.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams.
  • Provide project leadership by mentoring and guiding junior project staff, fostering their professional growth and knowledge development.

Requirements

  • Project Management professional qualifications or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with solar design and engineering software.
  • 3+ years in a similar position.
  • Exceptional communication, verbal and writing skills.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and management.
  • Market knowledge and understanding of Australian standards.
