About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Newy Tech People. As a Senior Electrical Engineer - Solar Energy Expert, you will play a key role in the development, financing, procurement, and construction phases of large-scale solar farms, standalone storage plants, and hybrid renewable energy projects located across Australia.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical consulting services to clients across the development, financing, procurement, and construction phases of renewable energy projects.
  • Engage in the design, review, feasibility studies, and evaluation of renewable energy projects.
  • Support clients in achieving their project goals by leveraging your technical expertise to perform thorough analyses, assess risks, and deliver well-founded solutions to complex challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality results and meet project deadlines.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer with at least 7 years of professional experience and a degree in Electrical Engineering. You should have a strong background in solar energy and experience working on large-scale solar farms, standalone storage plants, and hybrid renewable energy projects in Australia. You should also have excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
