
Strategic Project Coordinator

The position of Executive Officer is a key role within the University's senior leadership team, reporting directly to the PVC (ILE). As an executive assistant and project coordinator, you will provide high-level support to the PVC (ILE) in managing various portfolio areas. This includes advising on critical issues, new initiatives, and policy/regulatory matters, as well as leading the implementation of plans to address such concerns.
You will also be responsible for assisting with operational and administrative management of the Office of the PVC (ILE), including supervising the executive assistant. Additionally, you will assist with drafting and editing complex documents, such as business cases and proposals, as required by the PVC (ILE) and Director, Strategy and Operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong record of achievement in providing executive support, strategic project management, and governance, ideally within the university sector.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, enabling the ability to draft complex correspondence, reports, and other documents with precision and clarity.
- Strong strategic planning skills and a capacity for systematic and analytical thinking.
- Ability to develop understanding of Indigenous cultural protocols and engage with all staff in a manner that is respectful, collegiate, and thoughtful.
- This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.
- A competitive remuneration package, including base salary range $138,882 - $145,495 per annum.
- A full-time appointment, with flexible working arrangements available.
