The Senior Production Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring production processes are efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Set up material, people, and equipment on the production line. Ensure they are tracked in Celoxis.
  2. Influence project direction to consider scalability from conception.
  3. Collaborate with the project manager, purchasing, production engineers, R&D, and production manager.

This role requires a technically-minded individual with strong attention to detail and high influence capabilities.

Key Tasks
  1. Perform electronics diagnostics and repairs on production electronic components and subassemblies.
  2. Provide instructions for technicians to repair products.
  3. Analyze root causes of material failures at incoming goods, production failures, and customer returned products.
  4. Support the production team by providing technical expertise to minimize production stoppages.
  5. Verify production jigs and equipment for suitability prior to use in production.
  6. Inspect the first production batch of new or modified components or assemblies.
  7. Implement and train new products into production.
  8. Evaluate manufacturability of new products and recommend design changes, production processes, suppliers, and equipment to R&D.
  9. Research manufacturing processes and evaluate them for potential to achieve production goals.
  10. Engage suppliers and form collaborative relationships.

We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in assembly and fabrication of cutting-edge electronic technology products, operating equipment, and learning how to operate equipment from suppliers.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Systems and 4+ years' experience in a similar position.
  • Established professional relationships with suppliers relevant to our industry.
  • Experience measuring and reporting on production metrics.
  • Basic knowledge of software (Java, C, C++), electronics, and mechanical design processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, fault-finding, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to provide accurate technical documentation.
