Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electronics diagnostics and repairs on production electronic components and subassemblies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on materials failed at incoming goods, production failures, and customer returns.
  • Support the production team by providing technical expertise to minimize stoppages and meet targets.
  • Verify production jigs and equipment for suitability prior to use in production.
  • Inspect the first production batch of new or modified components or assemblies.
  • Be accountable for the implementation and training of new products into production.
  • Assess new products for manufacturability and recommend design changes, production processes, suppliers, and equipment.
  • Research manufacturing processes and evaluate their potential to achieve production goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement and manage change within the production team.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Systems with 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Established professional relationships with suppliers.
  • Experience in the assembly and fabrication of advanced electronic technology products.
  • Ability to operate equipment and learn from suppliers in areas such as Level Tables, Dispensing, PCBA, and Motion Simulators.
  • Capability to quickly develop deep technical skills in challenging domains.
  • Experience measuring and reporting on production metrics.
  • Basic knowledge of software (Java, C, C++), electronics, and mechanical design processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, fault-finding, and debugging skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate technical documentation.
