About the Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to work as part of a small, specialised team focused on labour market and economic modelling projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in analysing labour market data and developing, testing and improving economic models with a particular focus on Beveridge curve analysis and search and matching models.

The successful candidate will have a post-graduate qualification in Economics/Econometrics or similar, along with strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in Econometrics and strong proficiency in R are also essential. Experience with GitHub, Azure (Databricks and Datalake) and Posit is desirable, as well as the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Extensive experience in preparing statistical reports and meeting critical deadlines is also required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
