Job Role: Allied Health Assistant

This is a dynamic role that offers support for career progression and development, the opportunity to work with a leading health service, and the ability to live and work in a vibrant regional setting.

  • Main Responsibilities: Providing best practice client-centred clinical care to clients within a designated caseload. This includes direct support to patients in navigating services, assisting with day-to-day tasks, and supporting the social work team in educating patients about their rights and responsibilities.
  • Working Under Supervision: Working under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional, either directly or indirectly, within the interdisciplinary team.
  • Liaising with Other Professionals: Providing comprehensive care to patients by liaising with other allied health professionals, service providers, and community organizations.

  • Clinical Care: Ability to provide high-quality, client-centred care to clients within a designated caseload.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to support patients in navigating services and assisting with day-to-day tasks.
