About the Role

The YMCA NSW is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Lifeguard. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our patrons while they use our facility.

Key responsibilities include actively supervising the pool and surrounding areas, identifying and managing safety issues, and responding to emergency incidents. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our members and visitors.

About You

We are looking for a self-motivated and customer service-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will have superior communication and observation skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.

Previous experience working at an aquatic facility is desirable, but not essential. You will also need to hold a current First Aid certificate, CPR certificate, and Pool Lifeguard Licence.
