We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to support the Lifeguard Team Leader in leading the operations team, focusing on providing exceptional supervision and service to our members and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Lifeguard Team Leader in maintaining Service Improvement Plan scores for areas under direct supervision.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to Safety and Supervision as required.
  • Assist in managing and developing staff rosters to ensure coverage and safety at all facilities.
  • Support shift authorisation and timesheet approvals.
  • Contribute to the training and development of the Lifeguard team.
  • Respond to customer feedback in a timely manner and ensure the Lifeguard team follows feedback processes.
  • Ensure staff are trained and updated on the use of chemicals and other OH&S procedures.
  • Assist with hazard and risk assessments and maintain a register to identify and manage potential issues.
  • Participate in direct service roles.
  • Support the Lifeguard Team Leader in maintaining accurate records for OH&S risk assessments, Water Quality, accidents and incidents, hazchem register, and dangerous goods manifest.
  • Assist in preparing progress reports on key performance indicators for the business unit.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading and managing a team.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
  • Employee Working with Children Check.
  • First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis and Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the workplace qualifications (or willingness to obtain).

Please note that the successful candidate must be willing to undergo a police records check, pre-employment medical, and Health declaration for the purpose of employment.
