About Our Village Community

We invite you to join our dynamic and supportive team as an Assistant Village Manager. This exciting opportunity will enable you to contribute to creating a thriving community where residents can enjoy active and social lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Village Manager in fostering a sense of belonging and connectivity within the village
  • Oversee day-to-day operational activities and assist in implementing operational plans and projects
  • Assist the SVM in driving financial processes and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Implement company policies, strategies, and plans to maintain resident satisfaction
  • Deliver health and wellbeing services and programs to residents, assist with running village events, and contribute to effective resident management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated people management experience in a similar role within retirement living, hospitality, or hotel management sectors, or skills aligned to the role from an alternative sector
  • Resilience in dealing with challenging circumstances
  • An ability to balance different priorities and manage day-to-day expectations for residents and their families
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead by example
  • Good knowledge of EH&S issues related to the workplace
  • Excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • A Level 2 First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate, or willingness to obtain
  • A valid driver's license
