Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Actuarial Analyst to play a key role in shaping the future of workplaces across various industries.

The successful candidate will have a degree in numerical or mathematics fields and be making strides in their actuarial exams, as well as substantial experience in the pensions actuarial sector.

  • Prepare valuations and cost estimates for pension schemes.
  • Undertake and supervise accounting disclosures (FRS17, IAS19, and USGAAP).
  • Coordinate data collection, including editing and testing data received from clients.
  • Undertake and check all aspects of actuarial work associated with pension schemes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare reports, letters, and other client materials to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Check day-to-day individual calculations as requested by management.
  • Participate in internal projects, handle special assignments as needed, and contribute to the growth and development of the organization.
  • Assist scheme consultants with consultancy aspects of pension schemes, attend client/trustee meetings as required, and provide leadership, feedback, and training to junior analysts.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to communicate complex ideas effectively, and possess a strong understanding of pension schemes and actuarial principles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A degree in numerical or mathematics fields, along with substantial experience in the pensions actuarial sector and progress in actuarial exams.
