Occupational Therapy Role

Silver Porcupine Occupational Therapy Services is a fast-growing paediatric occupational therapy business that empowers children and families to reach their full potential. Our mobile-based service supports kids in various regions of New South Wales, Australia.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will work part-time with opportunities for full-time employment upon degree completion/registration.

The role involves:

  • Creating engaging therapy resources
  • Providing play-based approaches to facilitate function and improve capacity while following an OT-developed program
  • Working one-on-one with clients in their natural environments to support goal achievement

Clients have varying conditions and disabilities, including ASD, attentional difficulties, sensory processing disorder, developmental delays, motor disorders, and mental health issues. Regular supervision and support will be provided to help you gain the experience needed for your future career.

We are looking for a driven individual who can work autonomously and learn effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a friendly attitude, are essential. Remuneration is based on industry standards.
