About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Repair Solution Specialist to join our team at Alstom's Repair and Overhaul Center in Rouse Hill. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of electronic repairs by developing and implementing new local test benches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with international repair centers or design authority to implement repair campaigns using international standards (IPC).
  • Provide support to technical personnel for improving repair techniques or root cause analysis of more complex failures using universal test benches (ABI).
  • Participate in technical reviews and meetings to share knowledge and learn about new advancements in electronic repair techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations for all test bench implementation and use.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of test bench procedures, results, and repairs to develop an efficient test database.
  • Provide technical support to external customers with electronic repair needs.
  • Continuously improve and optimize test benches and repair techniques to enhance the laboratory's overall repair capabilities.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in similar role with Electronic systems.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics or similar).
