Job Summary
The Domain Lead – Product Origination Mortgages will be responsible for leading the technology strategy and execution for ING's Mortgages Tribe. This role will oversee complex projects with moderate to high impact, and will be responsible for fostering strong partnerships with business counterparts to distil strategic commercial objectives into a comprehensive and executable technological roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact for stakeholders within the domain, including business units, internal teams, and external partners.
- Ensure that business activities within the Domain area comply with relevant external regulatory and/or voluntary codes and with internal policies and procedures.
- Ensure reliability, security, and performance of critical IT assets within the domain.
- Oversee system maintenance, lifecycle management, as well as incident and problem management.
- Build high performing teams with high levels of engagement and effective engineering practices.
- Manage performance of external suppliers/partners and ensure that contractors and offshore team members share in ING's values and way of working.
Requirements
- Experience in retail Mortgage space, particularly in product originations preferred.
- Proven experience in banking/investment technology strategy development and execution in alignment with architecture and other IT functions.
- Demonstrated experience in leading financial services technology teams.
- Knowledge about automation of operations process, workflows will be an added advantage.
- Experience in management & negotiation of large vendor commercial contracts.
- Demonstrated experience working with PEGA, Technology Risk Frameworks, service management tooling, public cloud technologies and application migration.
- Experience with Distributed Agile Delivery (onshore/offshore).
